you're still assuming all mothers raise their children well, when in fact the parenting system is notoriously flawed. Relatively speaking, most mothers do "okay", as in for the crappy? system, average. If crappy is average though... you get my point. Also, quite a few mothers fall into a trap of being controlling and selfish. If you want to discuss this further, let's go by messages. I have a lot more to this hypothesis, including examples.

i've wanted this ...
i've wanted this game sooooo bad ever since i first saw this trailer....I got Sims 3 last christmas and I figured, hey if I loved sims 3 I would really love sims 3 PETS...i asked for this for christmas this year I got it, I was excited....within the first 30 min- an hour of playing I got sooo bored :P this trailer was a bit mis leading....I don't mind the game at all I just don't think it's all that cool as it seems to be? on this. maybe since I got the x box version, it prob isn't as good as pc

@TheNeonAngel Not all mothers are wonderful. In fact most parents make a lot of mistakes, and sometimes selfishly think of only themselves. I'd advise you not make assumptions, and not even judgements until/unless you know? the context.
